Bee Mason Jar Card Directions
Print the Bee Card file onto heavy card stock. I’ve included a yellow watercolor backing sheet; print this on a piece of heavy card stock, then print the card design on the other side. Repeat for the embellishment page, so all items have two finished sides.
Printing both sides of the paper ensures the inside looks as good as the outside.
Cut out the pieces. They’re big enough to cut quickly by hand, but the pages do have a white background if you prefer to run through the Cricut instead. I cheated and had my 9 year old do it, she loves papercrafting ;)
Add the grommets
This piece has 2 eyelets/grommets at the top, I’ve used the crop o dile to set them. I resisted buying this handy gadget for a long time, but I kept destroying the projects I was trying to set eyelets in with a manual tool and hammer. Folks from my favorite Facebook group (Junk Journaling For Everyone, do check it out!) overwhelmingly recommended the crop a dile and I’m now hooked.
Here’s one I have:
This was a major source of frustration, as I kept mangling partially finished pieces. Here’s how easy it is. First, punch the holes where you want the grommets to go. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to discover the tool has built in hole punches. (No, I did not read the directions, and obviously should have!) anyway, punch 2 holes, centered at the neck of the jar.
.
I messed these up a bit, but it wont matter, the metal grommets will cover the bad hole punching I’ve done,
See? Bad holes gone! Just place the grommet in the ho,e, add a backing and squeeze, it sets perfectly each time.
Tie waxed cord or bakers twine through the holes, and attach a tag.
Add the pocket to the inside, then decorate the jar however you like:

This is so adorable!! It'll go perfectly with my bee journal I have yet to make...more than likely after the holidays!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I don't know how you do it...I am a grommet mangler with a new cropadile big bite, you have given me courage to use my birthday present (from August) now that I am crunching Christmas projects. LOL Thanx!
