I'm lucky enough to live next door to a beekeeper -- so we get all the wonderful pollinators and honey, without the headache (and occasional heartache) of hive management. She brought over a huge quart of honey this week, so I made her some labels as a thank you. Here's a peek at the labels, along with the folio I made to deliver them in -- you'll find some free copies of the labels a little further down the page.
Here's a look at the folio I used to hold most of the labels (I made a dozen of each, so there are more in a separate folio:
the Folio design I used for this is the beginner shabby chic folio, found here, I just added bees :)
This project features a combination of my own art, vintage images and some lovely papers from Creative Fabrica.
Here's the paper used for the backgrounds, and that gorgeous bee skep floral used for the pockets:
You can find the Royal Bees here -- I am a subscriber, so it was free to download!

I also used the Bee Kind and Bee Keeper graphics I made for World Bee Day last spring. You can find the free download for these here.
Don't right click to save, it will only give you a small resolution file. Instead click here -- or the bee image above -- for a high resolution version ready for your project!
Here's a closer look at the labels:
I wanted them to be waterproof, so I printed them on sticker paper (the kind used for labels -- the one I use all the time is here on Amazon, but any full sheet will do.
Here is the file I used -- it has 3 of each Bee style sticker or label on it:
Once I printed them out, I laminated them -- The lamination sheets I have separate if you cut around the edges of a laminated piece -- so you can protect the back but still peel the front away like a sticker.
I also used vintage graphics to make a second style label -- these are printed out in the same way as the ones above, they just have a different style:
Find a high resolution copy of this printable file here, if you want to use these vintage bee labels for your own project. I actually cut these on the cricut, but they could easily be cut by hand.
I used a public domain Bee image and I reused the label I created for these vintage apothecary labels -- a very different sort of project, but the label worked for both!
Here's a closer look at the labels:
I made the last set using a watercolor wreath graphic from Creative Fabrica, and just added the word Honey in a scripted font :) They were fast and easy to make and cut out, so I included them as well. Find the floral wreath here at CreativeFabrica.
I added everything to a little folio (I have a free project upcoming for this, with different graphics, if you'd like to make your own. I'll link it here when it is done.
Happy neighbors all around -- she loved the labels (and I provided the files so she could print more) and I have honey for my tea for the next year!
