I am working through a huge collection of vintage Halloween ephemera and postcards, and sharing some of my favorites for you here. Use these vintage Halloween postcards in junk journals, card making and more. They’ve been scanned and digitized, then optimized for your home printer.

Rare Halloween Postcards


These postcards are unusual and old! The postmark on one is from 1901, the other is 1903. I have it seen these elsewhere online, so they will make a nice addition to your collection.

How to use these Free Vintage Halloween Postcards

Print the postcards onto heavy card stock, the one I use is shown below. It is 110 lb and prints beautifully. Keep an eye on the price, I only buy when it is around $10, it seems to fluctuate quite a bit.

Print on one side only, using your printer’s “best” settings.

Working with Vintage Halloween Postcards

I recently bought the aGraphics 45 Halloween Midnight Tales papers shown below -- they have a very vintage color scheme that works perfectly with these older cards and images:



Notes for Free Vintage Halloween Post cards


  • To get a more authentic feel, use a double layer of 110 card stock.

  • shiny or glossy paper will not work well for these, they look best printed on matte paper
