Fairy Graphics can be used in so many ways -- I wanted to share one of the older books in my collection, A Floral Fantasy in an Old English Garden. This is part three of a series of posts on this lovely vintage book. You can find part one here. Part 2 is here.
Find part 3 here.
The original book is from 1899 and features fairies graphics and other images in an idyllic English Garden. Take a look at these lovely pages and then download the full set of 9 illustrations at the end, no need to save each individually. Enjoy "A Floral Fantasy in an Old English Garden" and keep an eye out for this one at book sales and online (there are reproduction copies -- the "good" one is from 1899).

It says dragon but this one looks like a scorpion to me! I love the tail!
Creeping up Jacob's Ladder is another very regency looking fairy, this one has fingerless gloves and an apron...
Sweet William and Marigold (who could also pass as a zinnia) in the garden.
Another nod to mythology, Narcissus stares at his reflection and wears his namesake flower as a crown.
The stitchwork -- note she is both working on embroidery and the greenery/landscape around her looks like stitchery, clever!
Eyebright is one I am not familiar with, but the fairy in this one is lovely.
Another Knight, these seem to be the most detailed of all the images in the book, it may be because their clothing is simply more complex, but I definitely see a difference in these images vs. the more plain flower fairies.
And another very detailed knight:
More knights, this time with lady slipper. These are lovely blues, by the way, I hope they convey well on your screen!
