Friday Freebie Junk Journal Printable Pleated Pocket

This pocket features a pleated design, which allows you to tuck in all the small things without losing them or having them fall into the bottom of the pocket. This is a fast and easy way to add storage space to any junk journal page and still have the elhemeraremain visible. I’ve included a free printable So you can make your own. Allow about a half hour, most of which is taken up by cutting out the pieces!

Free Junk Journal Printable Pocket

Download the peacock printable page, found here and pictured below.

Cut out all the pieces.

Fold the largest piece with the right sides togethe, about a third of the way from the bottom, as shown. This spies nothave to be a exact distance from the bottom so just make your best guess. use a bone folder to set the crease.

Now fold the paper down with the wrong sides together, this forms a little folded pleat. Glue or stitch the side does in place:

Add the pocket to the from by folding the tabs down and gluing them in place on the back of the card.

Insert all the little pieces and decorate as you’d like. Add to your journal by gluing to any page.

Here is the free printable to make this project. I suggest printing onto 110 card stock for best results.
