This is part of a collection of bird cigarette cards from 1911. There are both birds of prey ephemera and songbirds, this one and the raven are my favorites. Cigarette cards like these were included with a tobacco purchase and were collected, I have a few intact abums -- one is in German and I can't read it at all!
Here is a PDF version of the vintage owl graphic, so you can download and use it as you'd like. Cigarette cards are not terribly large, they had to fit into or alongside a package.
