Vintage cat graphics can be engravings, illustrations or actual photos, like this one. Apparently there was a time in the late 1800s when dressing your cat up and taking pictures of him was a trend. This kitty looks a little more shocked than most to find himself decked out in what looks like a baptism gown.
The original photo is from 1876. It was brown and showing it’s age so I altered and cleaned it a bit. I was also procrastinating so I decided what this kitty really needed was a pretty blanket and fancy vintage wallpaper. i could not decide which I liked better, so I am sharing both!

Printing Tip for Vintage Cat Images
I love the charming vintage look of these, but hate having a plain white page back. Printing on parchment or colorful paper doesn't help, because then you lose the whites and light colors. I ordered the paper below and put it through the machine so that the image you want prints on the back. This gives you a two sided piece with a distressed back and the chosen image on the front.
